As well as patient groups and organisations, we at Lung Cancer Europe also welcome individual members. So we are very pleased to welcome Filipe Paixão from Fernão Ferro in Portugal to the LuCE family.

In October 2022, Filipe was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer and subsequently became very involved with patient advocacy. He is now an active member of the European Lung Foundation‘s Patient Advisory Group. His aim as a patient and advocate is to raise lung cancer awareness and drive research.
